During his visit to Romania, Dr. Akkan Suver visited the National Defense University Carol I. Dr. Suver was welcome by Commandant of the University, General Teodor Frunzeti, and presented his thanks to General Frunzeti for heaving joined the 16th Eurasian Economic Summit. Dr. Suver was informed about activity of the University.Dr. Akkan Suver also met Mr. Iulian Fota, Presidential Advisor for National Security of Romania. During their meeting, Dr. Suver presented detailed account on the 16th Eurasian Economic Summit.Dr. Akkan Suver and Müjgan Suver paid a visit to the Ambassador of Turkey in Bucharest, H.E. Ömür Şölendir. On this occasion, Dr. Suver informed H.E. Ambassador Şölendil about 16th Eurasian Economic Summit and presented his book “Montenegro”, which was published in Montenegro. Dr. Akkan Suver made a presentation in the framework of the Forum “Levant, Cradle of Cultural Diplomacy”, organized jointly by Romanian Foundation for Cultural Diplomacy, led by the Former President of Romania, Dr. Emil Constantinescu and the Academy of Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin.In the course of the Forum’s events, hosted by the Parliament House of Romania and the Romanian National Library, Dr. Akkan Suver made bilateral meetings with Mr. Ion Iliescu, former President of Romania, Mr. Petru Lucinschi, former President of Moldova, Mr. Gary Jacobs, Vice-President of World Academy of Art and Science, Mr. Mark C. Donfried, President of the Academy of Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Hady from Cairo University, Dr. Eyal Ginio from University of Jerusalem and Mr. Adrian Severin, Member of European Parliament. Dr. Akkan Suver and Müjgan Suver visited the University Dimitrie Cantemir, one of the important private universities in Romania, where they were warmly welcome by the Rector of University, Prof. Corina Dumitrescu. During this visit, Dr. Suver joined the meeting of University Senate and thanked for the hospitality.
