Triza Chirwa is the Youth of Advocate of Sexual Reproductive Youth Advocate with the Tithanizane Youth Support Organization. She has her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Livingstonia Malawi. Triza worked on the project "Pad Plus".
About Project:
Pad Plus is an innovative idea to improve the safety of menstrual health management (MHM) in schools. The project addressed issues of youth hygiene, the correct use of contraceptive methods, debunking myths and taboos regarding menstruation, as well as promoting the understanding that this is a normal and natural process in the body. The project was carried out through face-to-face workshops and was mainly focused on human resources. It started from July 20, 2022, to September 21, 2022.
It is against this backdrop that the Pad Plus program provides an educational platform as well as awareness of the safe and proper use of hygiene products.
