International Fund for Сooperation and Partnership of the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea (Fund) expresses its deepest grief on assassination of US Ambassador with his three diplomats as a result of furious assault by violent extremist groups to US Consulate in eastern Libya of Benghazi on September 11, 2012, and as well to all other victims including German and British embassies in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, to all who suffered from violent demonstrations and revulsions which have gone global and spread through the Middle East and into Africa and Asia, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Malaysia, Pakistan and Yemen.
The Fund strongly condemns all the manifestations of moral or physical violence, as well as, terrorism irrespective of its origins. The perpetrators of these heinous acts should be brought to justice and judged publicly. Meanwhile, the Fund emphasizes the need for promoting equal and unprejudiced respect to all religious confessions and therefore urges all societies to refrain from insulting and offending religious values.
Promoting the progressive values of modern world in its Charter and practical work, the Fund calls to respect the norms and principles of international law, as well as stresses the necessity to refer to peace, dialogue and tolerance in lifting the divergences and misunderstandings amongst people and in this regard reassures its further serious efforts and contribution adhering to the mentioned principles.
