Esteemed Mr. President,
International Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Development (IFSPD), known as The International Fund for Cooperation and Partnership of the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea (BSCSIF) until 2017, was established in 2009 thanks to you and the President of Romania, Mr. Traian Băsescu.
The members of this unique organization; politicians, diplomats, professors, public figures, are now famous representatives of forty countries.
On August 1, 2013, BSCSIF received Special Consultative Status within the UN Economic and Social Council.
IFSPD takes part in the implementation of the most significant social projects in various parts of the world - from Eastern Europe to Africa and Southeast Asia.
For more than 10 years, the soul of the foundation and great authority for all its participants has been the IFSPD Secretary-General, Eldar Hasanov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, who has earned fame as a peacemaker and a diplomat; a wise, influential, fundamental, highly moral and selfless person, who is defending the interests of his country. It was he who enhanced the work of the foundation, and contributed to the growth of its authority throughout the world.
A lot was done to strengthen the rule of law and order during the time of the work of doctor, professor Eldar Hasanov, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and during his diplomatic work, on his initiative and with his support, many projects were implemented that contribute to strengthening the authority of the republic in the international arena (attached).
Without interfering in the course of the investigation, we ask you to take the investigation under your personal control, and to not allow an unfair consideration of the case based on accusations that seem unbelievable to everyone who knows this outstanding person.
Please note that the detention of Mr. Ambassador may cause irreparable damage to his health, aggravated by chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, vascular thrombosis, atherosclerotic cardiosclerosis and immunodeficiency, which is extremely dangerous to health under the COVID-19 pandemic.
